1. Initial Consultation
Your journey begins with a comprehensive consultation, where you’ll:
- Complete a sleep questionnaire and a standard health history form
- Review your eligibility and discuss potential treatment options
If you're a good candidate for oral appliance therapy, we’ll provide you with a Braebon MediByte™ Home Sleep Test and guide you through:
- How to use the device properly
- What to expect during the testing night
2. Home Sleep Test Return
After completing your home sleep test:
- Return the device to our office
- We’ll download the data and send it to a certified sleep specialist for analysis
3. Follow-Up Appointment
During your follow-up visit, we’ll:
- Review your sleep test results in detail
- If required by your insurance, refer your results to a certified sleep physician
- If needed, schedule a virtual consultation with a sleep specialist—right in our office
Once your diagnosis is confirmed and you're approved for oral appliance therapy, we’ll go over:
- Your customized treatment plan
- Insurance coverage and treatment costs
4. Appliance Preparation
When you're ready to proceed:
- We’ll take digital scans of your teeth
- Collect any additional information to fabricate your custom sleep appliance
5. Appliance DELIVERY

Once your appliance is ready, you’ll return for your fitting appointment, where we will:
- Fit and fine-tune the appliance for comfort and effectiveness
- Provide detailed instructions for use and care
- Teach you targeted exercises to enhance the appliance’s performance
